You know why you're on your way to San Francisco, but how do you get here? Where should you stay? What is there to do here?
Here you will find several links to help with your journey. San Francisco will be in full-on tourist season during this Bootcamp so you will want to make reservations as soon as you are able.
Fort Mason is one of our many recycled military bases that now serve the community by providing space for nonprofits and offering space for community events and classes. It's a great camps for class, and convenient to public transit, restaurants, bars, and beaches.
Hostelling International is recommended if you need accomodations--it's a hostel on federal park land right next to the class. It's not the swankiest place in town, but it's clean, cheap, and has amazing views of the Golden Gate, and a particularly great location for getting around town. They have private rooms, or, for those really on a budget, shared dorm rooms. Alternately, the Comfort Inn by the Bay is a solid hotel--(415) 928-5000--not four star but well regarded and convenient to Fort Mason.
