What you need and should know before signing up for class.
Things You'll Need

A laptop. If you don't have one, we may be able to help you find a loaner among the other students. The class is hands-on, so you'll want a computer to work on. Any operating system (Windows, Macintosh OSX, Linux, BSD, others) will work fine.
Things You Should Know
This course is intended for people with little or no Plone skills. However, there are things that you should be familiar with:
- Installing software on your computer
- Basic HTML: writing simple pages in HTML by hand
- Basic skills of using Plone: logging into a Plone site, creating simple content, etc.
It is not required that you know the following, but your class experience will be significantly enhanced if you have the following skills:
- Basic Python
- Intermediate HTML (building forms and understanding a web request)
- Basic and intermediate CSS
