Day Two

  • Customizing Plone's features
  • Installing Add-on products for Plone
  • Useful Plone add-ons for intranets, extranet, and internets
  • Getting help with Plone
  • Comparing Plone to other CMSes and application frameworks
    • When is Plone a good choice?
    • When is it not?

Requirements:

  • Must be comfortable using a web browser and navigating the web.
  • HTML is not required, though some basic web page familiarity will be helpful.
  • This is a hands-on class. Each student should bring a laptop for class.
