Plone 2.1.3 Out
Plone 2.1.3 was released. It's the latest in the 2.1 branch, and it will be what I'll be teaching in future courses.
In theory, releases in the same line should be easy migrations: 2.1.0 to 2.1.1 to 2.1.2 should be just bug-fixes.
In reality, though, that promise gets broken in the Plone world more often than I'd like.
If you do upgrade from 2.1.2 to 2.1.3, you should be careful if you:
- customize the CSS by overriding our built-in CSS files: we've moved some rules from one file to another.
- customized the navigation tree portlet or navigation tree CSS
Despite these issue, it should be a fairly easy upgrade, though--perhaps an hour or two for sites with reasonable customizations.
